This is mostly just to let everyone know that I am still alive and well.
Over Thanksgiving Break I've done a lot of work trying to get a definite sense of what I'm trying to do with this comic. I've got a bunch of illustration stuff going and I'm working on getting poster and print designs ready for the comic and for Anime Boston next year.
So, what's up with Starsign? I've got the new and improved first page all ready but I'm trying to get things sorted out with the website that we want to create. Fortunately, my girlfriend is pretty gifted with design so we should have a nice looking website built before the end of December (Hopefully). Right now, Ashwara and I are trying desperately to think of a name for our Studio, and to get some pages ready for the launch. I'm PROBABLY going to put pages up here on DD before then, but I'm still not quite sure. Ideally, I'd like to have a bit of a backlog of comics ready in case I miss an update.
Anyway, I'll try to keep you all posted on how things are going on our end. School is over in two weeks and that means I'll have a ton more time to get things done. Over the break I hope to get through AT LEAST the first issue of Starsign, that includes the basic story (with new designs and better dialog) and the 2 page prologue I'm working on now, PLUS a bunch of neat little images at the back!

Woo i caught up! I love your art style, I've been finding that it's hard for me to get certain scenes out of my head from this comic. Great work, very inspiring.
Good luck Kiah. Thanks for the cool update with the sweet pic of petre and the info on whats going down, I'll always be interested in the lives of other comics creators. (not part of blackbird sky anymore? or you plan on making another studio?) Will wait for a link to your new site, or new pages. Huzzaaah!
