NAME: Citizens of Evanstia
Data: Of all the Western countries, Evanstians are the most pious and are responsible for the Southern Crusade introduced in Volume II. Although they have access to transport airships their weapons are medieval in nature. Their clothes resemble somewhat what Europeans used in the Middle Ages, but they have been introduced to leather shoes, ties, and other modern clothing.

DATA:Who would seem like the main character of Distant Embrace, actually lacks all the strength and drive of the rest of the cast. Twelve years before the start of the story he lost both his parents, which deeply affected him causing him to loose all interest in violence. He is of extreme importance to Evanstia, for he is one of the only 10 Elementals who can control lightning. One of the winged ancients, Ahrezes, was injected into him and when Ahrezes gained conciousness Uriah began to experience "a voice in his head".

NAME: Adaran
ORGANIZATION:Elementals of Evanstia / The Five

AGE: 21
ATTACK: Earth and Needles
DATA: Rash and violent if the situation requires it. His family was responsible for the adoption of Uriah, and since then he has taken care of Uriah to the point of overprotecting him. For some reason Zeph and him do not get along, which made the news of Adaran's demotion even sweeter to Zeph.

NAME: Zeph
ORGANIZATION: Elementals of Evanstia / The Five
SEX: Male
AGE: 25
ATTACK: Water
DATA: Proud and arrogant, he dislikes naiveness except when it comes from his best friend or rather sidekick, Hamza. He detests Uriah for receiving so many privileges and promotions based solely on his ability to control lightning. Although he seems the most straightforward of the Five, he hides a dark secret within.

NAME: Hamza
ORGANIZATION: Elementals of Evanstia / The Five

AGE: 28
ATTACK: Earth
DATA: Sidekick of Zeph, descends from a great line of warriors. Hamza may seem naive sometimes, but when it comes to battle he always has a plan; however, he fails to use his powers and instead relies on his physical strength. For reference on this read how he dealt with Jasna in Chapter 2(vampire with dagger in north Evanstia).

NAME: Fintan
ORGANIZATION: Elementals of Evanstia / The Five

ATTACK: Fire
DATA: AKA The White Fire of Evanstia. Acting as the leader of the Five he is calm, tactical, and quick to give orders. He got separated from the group once they headed to the Southern Temple and he chose to deliver the Sun Lotus up north. Currently, his whereabouts are unknown.

NAME: Terenti
ORGANIZATION: Elementals of Evanstia / The Five
SEX: Male
AGE: 23
ATTACK: Wind
DATA: Extremely impatient, a trait shared by many Wind Elementals. Wind Elementals are not native to Evanstia and pertain to the nation of Eolos in the West, but since its economy is unable to sustain its people they send mercenaries to serve under different nations. To Terenti only two things matter: power and money, but that is about to change...

DATA: The nation of Evanstia represents the 6 elements throughout it's symbol. Metal in the tip of the lance, wood wrapped around in the center, in the bottom a lightning, surrounded by a flame, which in turn is surrounded by a drop of water and this surrounded by earth. The wind is represented with the red cloth waving on each side.

NAME: Ilmarinen
ORGANIZATION: Nephilim
SEX: Male
AGE: ??
ATTACK: Able to create and summon powerful creatures and humans. Afterwards, he is able to retain a certain control over them.
DATA: Although his appareance makes him look tranquil and analytical, he usually ruins his chances to obtain information or advance in his plans through rash violence. He had the Demoness working for him until she double-crossed him and his main goal is to find the identity of the man chose by her to carry the Ancient of Lightning.

ORGANIZATION: Nephilim
Members: 10
Goal: Gather the essence of the ten ancient creatures that fused with the planet to not only become the rulers of all Embrace but create an ecological inbalance capable of mass destruction.
DATA:Each member is able to control one of the ten main elements left by the ancient creatures: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Darkness, Wood, Metal, Creation, and Destruction. So far the only member who has made an appearance is Ilmarinen, who also seems to be the only one worried about gathering the ten spirits in a short length of time. The Nephilim also claim to have the purest bloodline in connection to the ten ancient creatures, which along with their purpose has provided them with many followers.

NAME: Germa Bajus
State: Deceased
SEX: Male
AGE: 12 years before beginning of D.E. he was in his 80's.
ATTACK: None
DATA: He served loyally to Uriah's parents. He was to deliver him to them on Nubosur, but when the government found out about his plans they sent Sisu to assassinate him.

NAME: Zarai
ORGANIZATION:Still Unknown
SEX: Female
AGE: ???
ATTACK: Red riding hood of great strength, endurance, and ability to stretch through long distances.
DATA: A wild-blooded human that works for an unknown organization that supports a holy union between "wild-bloodeds" and Elementals. She was working with The Demoness to spy on her, and find out whether she was a true demon or not, which is why she let Adalf inject the Ancient's blood into Uriah. Her organization works both to stop the Nephilim and the demons crawling slowly into the Western Continent.

NAME: Adalf
ORGANIZATION: None
SEX: Male
AGE: 24
ATTACK: Earth
DATA: Despite Zarai's childish appearance, Adalf seems to be her minor and looks toward her for protection. The hair on his back was only a costume to fool The Demoness into thinking he was a wild-blooded when he is in fact an Elemental. The constant pressure of presencing so many turning points is little by little having an effect on Adalf, only time will tell if he will join Zarai's organization or simply walk away.

NAME: Demoness
ORGANIZATION: Demon Army of the East
SEX: Female
AGE: 85
ATTACK: Superhuman Strength
DATA: She was a double agent for the Nephilim and the D.A.E. In the end her loyalties stood with the Demon Army, which is why she hid Ahrezes(one of the winged Ancients) blood in Uriah. Her plan was to use The Harvester as a catalyst for Uriah's body to be possesed 100% by Ahrezes and in turn take control of that body; however, she didn't know that Ahrezes woke up inside Uriah(hence Uriah hearing a voice).

NAME: The Harvester
ORGANIZATION: Demon Army of the East
SEX: ??
AGE: ??
ATTACK: Able to summon countless minions by ripping an entrance into Hell.
DATA: A servant of The Demoness, he was to use his minions to provoke Uriah into fusing with Ahrezes, which was to cause Uriah to be possessed by Ahrezes. Unfortunately for The Harvester, Ahrezes awoke inside Uriah and lend him his power cautiously; indeed, this was to be the cause for the demise of The Harvester.

ATTACK: Super strength and speed.
DATA: His mischievous eyes hide a darkness beyond human wickedness. At first glance he seems to be the loyal servant of the Bishop, but in reality he uses his dark influence to make the Bishop according to his plans. In reality he is the human disguise of the demon Onaurr.

ORGANIZATION:Southern Temple Elemental Priest / Lillithian

ATTACK: None.
DATA: Although his religious duty should keep him clean of evil thoughts, his greed for power has corrupted him. He is supposed to be in control of every decision taken in the Temple, but he is easily pushed around by Merle's manipulation. He is an Athanasios(vampire) but he uses his human form most of the time.
